Rivulis Climate Director
Jon has served as Rivulis Climate Director since April 2023. Rivulis Climate is a pioneering initiative dedicated to Rivulis farmers. It leverages the Voluntary Carbon Market to enhance the accessibility of sustainable farming practices. Jon’s team develops innovative agronomic methods and scientific models to quantify and monitor carbon removals and emissions reductions in agriculture. Rivulis Climate also ensures the registration of all projects within the Voluntary Carbon Market, facilitating the monetization of their impact through carbon credits.
Jon joined Rivulis in April 2021 and previously held the position of Head of Transformation. In this role, he reported directly to Rivulis’ CEO, Richard Klapholz. Working directly with Rivulis’ management and Board of Directors, Jon established Rivulis’ Transformation Office and led the Post Merger Integration planning of Jain’s International Irrigation Business.
Before joining Rivulis, Jon spent five years at McKinsey & Company. His extensive global work experience includes serving companies across Europe, Africa, Australia, North and South America, as well as Israel. Jon holds a MSc from HEC Paris and an MBA from MIT Sloan in Boston. He speaks English, French, Hebrew and Spanish.
