Jacob Sondergaard
President, North America
Jacob is responsible for the North American Business Unit, which covers our activities in Canada, United States and Mexico. He leads all aspects of the business, from manufacturing, operations and supply chain to human resources, finance, sales, marketing and customer services. He is responsible for go-to-market strategy development and execution with the aim of increasing Rivulis’ market share in the very competitive and mature American market and a dynamic Mexican market.
Jacob is a Danish national, who has spent his entire career within the industrial B2B segment. With over 20 years of general management experience, he joined Rivulis in December of 2024 and previously he worked for global multi-national companies such as FLSmidth and Jacobi Carbons. He brings extensive experience in international sales and operations across four continents and from running full manufacturing and distribution operations in North America.
Jacob has a bachelor’s degree in international business from the Open University (United Kingdom) and an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (Chicago, USA).
