Naan, our forefather irrigation company, was founded in Israel in the 1930s, one of the most barren regions in the world. Staffed by engineers and experts with kibbutz farming experience, they understood farming deeply. 

In 1966, Plastro Irrigation Company was formed in Israel, led by top minds in commercial farming and irrigation, and 1965, Naan launched the first button dripper. 

With slow, labor-intensive production, steps were taken toward modern drip irrigation. Israel and our production flourished with significant investment and innovation. In the late 70s, Naan and Plastro launched PC drippers—Naan TIF and PLASTIF—allowing farmers to irrigate on slopes and longer rows. 

The 80s saw the development of the smallest PC dripper, the KATIF PC for Plastro, and the Naan PC circle dripper for Naan. We pioneered machinery that inserted drippers automatically, speeding up agriculture. The PLASTIF 2 and SUPERTIF online drippers were launched, becoming the most advanced for intensive horticulture. New production facilities were established worldwide. 

1990s: 

The Hydromatic factory was built in Israel, becoming the primary center for PC dripper production. We launched the HydroPC and PCND drippers, the first integrated PC dripper with a no-drain feature. In 1994, we released the RFR and JFR PC sprinklers. And Naan released the Amnon PC and the first PC micro sprinkler, the 2001, in the 90s.  

Naan introduced another PC micro sprinkler, called the 2002. In 2011, the D5000 PC drip line was launched, providing maximum clogging protection. Our innovations continue to shape agriculture globally. 

In 2014, our new brand, Rivulis, was launched, uniting our collective expertise. Our pioneering spirit remains strong, always at the forefront of agricultural innovation.
