Rivulis D4000 PC
Revolutionizing Thin-Wall Drip Irrigation
Product Description
The Rivulis D4000 PC is a game-changer in thin-wall drip irrigation, breaking barriers that once limited the potential of your land. With the power of pressure compensation, the D4000 PC ensures uniform water distribution across varying terrains, including slopes up to 4 degrees variation, and enables longer run lengths with a reduced diameter. Traditional thin-wall systems struggle with uniformity and are limited to flat land due to the absence of pressure compensation, but the D4000 PC overcomes these limitations. Now, you can irrigate with precision on both flat and sloped terrain, unlocking new farming possibilities while maintaining cost-effectiveness and maximizing productivity.
Product Specifications
- Pressure Compensated: Ensures uniform watering regardless of terrain or pressure variations.
- Flexible Terrain Use: Suitable for sloping land up to 4 degrees variation, previously inaccessible to thin-wall drip lines.
- Extended Run Lengths: Enables the longest laterals of any thin-wall drip line, reducing costs and improving field management.
- Reduced Diameter: achieve excellent performance with a 16mm (5/8”) diameter, down from the traditional 22mm (7/8”) for long-length laterals. 22mm (7/8”) is also available for even longer ones!
- Sustainable: 100% recyclable, aligning with sustainable farming practices. The diaphragm is made of a “thermoplastic elastomer” that can be recycled with polyethylene.
- Innovative Design: Features a slit outlet that closes when irrigation stops, reducing the risk of soil-suck back.
Highlights
- Revolutionary Design for Seasonal Crops: Engineered specifically for annual crops like tomatoes and potatoes, the D4000 PC sets a new standard in drip irrigation.
- Maximize Land Use: Turn previously unusable land into productive fields, increasing your farm’s output and profitability.
- Cost-Effective and Efficient: Longer laterals and reduced diameter save on materials and labor, making field management simpler and more cost-effective.
- Sustainable Farming Solution: Fully recyclable and environmentally friendly, the D4000 PC supports your commitment to sustainability.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the longest lateral I can do?
It depends on the diameter, thickness, flow rate, and spacing. For example, with a 22mm (7/8”) diameter, 10mil thickness, 0.6 l/h (0.16gph) flow rate, at 30cm (12”) emitter spacing, the run length can be over 500 meters (1640ft).
What is a pressure-compensated system?
It’s a system where pressure variations do not affect the flow rate. This means each dripper delivers the same amount of water, whether it’s the first or last in the line, as long as it’s within the specified range. It also works effectively on slopes, where pressure changes won’t impact the flow rate.
Why is it 100% recyclable?
The dripper body is fully recyclable as it’s made from polyethylene material. More importantly, the diaphragm is made of a "thermoplastic elastomer" that can also be recycled with polyethylene.
What is the maximum pressure I can use in thin wall drip lines?
The pressure range of the D4000 dripper is between 0.3 bar and 1.5 bar (4,35 - 21,75 PSI). For a 16mm (5/8”) tube with a 10 mil thickness, the pressure at 1.3 bar (18,85PSI) is generally appropriate. However, the optimal pressure can vary depending on the specific thickness and other factors.
