“I remember the first time I visited this farm,” shares Yassine Laaribya, Sales Director Morocco at Rivulis. “We detected failures in the old filtration system, which was cheaper but cost much more in the long run due to corrosion and inefficiency.” Together with the management of the farm, the Rivulis team visited neighboring farms that had Rivulis irrigation installations over thirteen years old and still efficient and functioning, demonstrating the quality and durability of the turnkey solutions and products. 

“To improve the efficiency of the irrigation system and the yield, we recommended an automated irrigation and fertigation management system,” says Laaribya. “The old system was not automated; irrigation and fertigation were done manually, and it was expensive in water management and labor.” In addition to the automated fertigation, Rivulis Hydro PC drip line and new filtration systems were installed: a sand filtration system followed by a screen filtration system designed for additional corrosion protection with a double coating of polyester and epoxy. It has been a game-changer. 

The new technology brings tangible benefits and significant increases in yield and production – up 25% in year one, and a 100% increase in year two.
